RED PANDA NAMING CONTEST
Help Us Name Our New Red Pandas
Our newest red panda cubs have arrived, and now they need names!
We’re inviting our community to be part of this exciting milestone. When you make a donation to support Zoo Knoxville, you’ll be entered for a chance to help name one of our newest red panda cubs.
Two winners will be selected. Each winner will enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes red panda experience and have the opportunity to submit name suggestions for one of the cubs.
Every donation helps provide exceptional animal care, supports wildlife conservation around the world, and inspires future generations to protect wildlife.
Here’s How It Works
🌿 Make a Donation
Choose one of the following donation options:
- $25 Donation: 1 entry
- $40 Donation: 2 entries (save $10)
- $60 Donation: 3 entries (save $15)
A maximum of three entries per person is permitted.

Your donation supports Zoo Knoxville’s mission of conservation, education, and exceptional animal care.
Donations made through the contest directly support Zoo Knoxville’s mission of exceptional animal care, conservation, and education, including our work with the Red Panda Network.
🌿 Go Behind-the-Scenes With Our Red Panda Team
Each winner will receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes red panda experience with Zoo Knoxville’s red panda care team.
You’ll meet some red pandas, learn about our newest cubs, and discover how our team cares for red pandas every day.
🌿 Help Name a Red Panda Cub
Following the experience, each winner may submit up to three name suggestions for one of Zoo Knoxville’s red panda cubs.
All proposed names are subject to review and approval by Zoo Knoxville. Names must align with Zoo Knoxville’s naming guidelines, animal care standards, and any applicable Species Survival Plan (SSP) recommendations.
Zoo Knoxville retains sole discretion over the final selected names.
The winning names will be announced at a later date.
