How to Purchase Tickets for Dog Days
  • Tickets are only available online and may only be purchased in advance. To manage capacity, we will NOT sell day-of walk-up tickets for this event.
  • Both humans and dogs will need separate admission tickets for this event.
  • Please make sure you are purchasing both your admissions ticket and your dog’s admission ticket on the dedicated Dog Days Ticket Pages.
  • Zoo Members will not need to purchase separate admission for themselves, however they will be required to purchase separate admission for their dogs. Please log in to your Member account to see your discounted pricing.
  • When purchasing your tickets, you will be required to select from an available entry-time window. You may stay in the zoo for as long as you would like, but please plan to enter the zoo during your entry window.
  • Each dog in your party will need one dedicated person 18 years of age or older to be with the dog at all times. One person may not bring in two dogs.
  • This is a limited capacity event and tickets are likely to sell out. If you do not see any ticket options labeled “DOG” when adding your tickets to cart, then we are sold out of event tickets for that day or that entry time block. Your dog must have a “DOG” ticket to enter the Zoo. Human general admission tickets will not be honored for dog admission.
  • All dogs must be checked in at Walk Gate 3 during their designated entry window. Walk Gate 3 is located to the left of the Zoo Shop Exit near Tram Pickup in the main roundabout.
  • There is no admission charge for service animals assisting guests with special needs. Guests with service animals must check in at the Ranger Station and provide proof of rabies vaccination.
Requirements
  • All dogs must have an up-to-date rabies vaccination.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Leashes must not exceed six feet in length and must be non-retractable. Leashes must be attached to a human at all times, even if the dog is in a carrier or stroller.
  • Guests must bring their own poop bags and are responsible for waste removal of their dog. Guests not picking up after their dog will be asked to leave the zoo without refund.
  • All dogs must be 4 months of age or older.
  • Each dog in your party will need one dedicated person 18 years of age or older to be with the dog at all times. One person may not bring in two dogs.
  • Dogs must remain under their human’s control and not behave in an aggressive or disruptive manner. Excessive agitation of Zoo animals or guests because of barking or other behavior may result in the party being asked to leave the Zoo without a refund.
  • This event is exclusively for dogs. Other pets will not be permitted entry.
