Brush with the Wild

Join us on May 2nd & 3rd from 10am - 8pm for an Art Festival celebrating the talent and beauty of East Tennessee.

Throughout the weekend visitors can watch local artists create masterpieces of animals in their exhibits, experience live music, try an animal life drawing session, shop in Maker's Village Craft Fair, explore a new instrument with The Joy of Music School, take a family-friendly K-Pop Dance Class with Knox K-Pop, get crafty with Knoxville Museum of Art, enjoy cocktails and sunsets over Rhino Reserve during an auction of the days creations with surprises from Zoo Knoxville's most artistic residents.

 

Saturday, May 2nd Highlights:

• Musical Zoo provided by The Joy of Music School  9am - 5pm
• Kid's Creation Zone provided by Knoxville Museum of Art  10am - 1pm & 3pm - 6pm
• Muralist & Artists Live Painting at Exhibits  10am - 4pm
• Maker's Village Craft Fair  10am - 8pm

• Animal Art Auction & Cocktail Party at Sugarland's BARn  6pm - 8pm
• Smoky Night Lights - After Brush with the Wild concludes, grab a show ticket to see the Smokies come alive in ways you've never experienced. Iconic wildlife emerges from the mist, dramatic landscapes shift around you, and weather seems to stir overhead as the story unfolds. Designed to spark awe and create lasting memories, this four-part experience carries you through 45 minutes of wonder inspired by the spirit of the Smokies.

 

Sunday, May 3rd Highlights:

• Family-Friendly K-Pop Dance session led by Asami Martin from Knox K-Pop. Inspired by the iconic choreography from K-Pop Demon Hunters - “GOLDEN.” Guests will learn a short section of  choreography together and experience how dance, music, and pop culture connect as an art form. 1pm & 2pm
• Muralist & Artists Live Painting at Exhibits  10am - 4pm
• Kid's Creation Zone 10am - 1pm & 3pm - 6pm
• Maker's Village Craft Fair  10am - 8pm
• Animal Life Drawing Sessions 1pm & 3pm
• Eryn Fuson, Knoxville's Favorite Singing Harpist
• Animal Art Auction & Cocktail Party at Sugarland's BARn  5pm - 7pm
