White-naped Cranes

Representing North-Eastern Asia, our White-naped cranes enjoy a habitat that is front-and-center of our beautiful Asia Trek. Our male and female have a strong pair-bond and can usually be seen together, foraging for insects. They can also be heard making their unison call to protect their territory and strengthen their bond. In early Spring, witness these elegant birds in their mating ritual. As part of the Species Survival Plan, this pair has successfully raised two chicks together.
